Student Program Coordinators

Our SUSI Student Program Coordinators welcome you

to Saint Mary's College


Imán Omar  is a junior Communication Studies major at Saint Mary's College. She is an international student from Cape Town, South Africa who aspires to work in the field of journalism. She has a great passion for writing and social justice work. She also enjoys outdoor activities and taking adventures.


Jasmine Simpson is a rising senior from Evans, Georgia. She is a Psychology Major and has been studying Arabic for the last 5 semesters at Saint Mary’s. She is currently the Vice President for the Black Student Association at Saint Mary’s. She is also involved with the Black Cultural Arts Club and Caribbean Student Association at Notre Dame. In her free time, she enjoys working out, listening to music, and trying new food. She is incredibly excited to meet this year’s participants and looking forward to a great summer!


Lexi Caron is a rising senior from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She is a double major in Global Studies with a concentration in International Development, and Political Science, as well as a sociology minor. She got to spend the spring of her sophomore year studying in Rome, and got to travel Europe where she had many incredible experiences. Her time abroad helped to further her passions for traveling and learning about the global community. At Saint Mary’s she is a part of the Political Science and Sociology clubs. She is a member of the Notre Dame Figure Skating and Debate Teams and loves to spend time with her teammates and practice her skills for both teams. Her other interests include watching and playing sports, listening to music, reading, and watching Netflix in her free time. She is so excited to be a Program Coordinator and can’t wait to meet everyone and have a wonderful summer together!


Olivia Garza is from Tustin, California and will be a senior at Saint Mary's College in the fall. She is a double major in Global Studies and Gender and Women's studies. In spring her junior year, she developed a love for learning new cultures and traveling while studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain. In her free time, she enjoys being with nature whether it is hiking, swimming, or enjoying a picnic. This is Olivia's first year as a Student Program Coordinator and looks forward to meeting all the incredible women.
