Student Program Coordinators


 Eleanor Jones

Eleanor is a rising senior from Valparaiso, IN. She majors in global studies with concentrations in International Development and Gender and Women’s Studies. Eleanor has studied in South Africa for an academic year where she developed a passion for new cultures. Upon returning, she was able to partake in SUSI 2014 as a student participant. This year she is eager to be part of a SUSI program once again as a student program coordinator.




Caylin McCallick

 Caylin is a rising junior and a Communicative Sciences and Disorders Major. She also intends to minor in Psychology.  Caylin is from Orange County, California.  She hopes to study abroad in Uganda next summer and apply some of her skills from her major. Caylin enjoys reading, writing, crafting and baking.  She also loves to jog and be active!



Sofia Piecuch

 Sofia is a rising senior at Saint Mary’s College double majoring in German and Global Studies with concentrations in International Development and Anthropology. Sofia spent half of her life living in the United States and the other half in Peru, which is how she initially became fascinated with exploring different cultures around the globe. The desire to travel led Sofia to study abroad in Innsbruck, Austria last spring. In her free time, she enjoys singing with her a cappella group, Unchained Melodies (check them out here: https://youtu.be/_lRhN4ZaALA); sharing her passion for her faith in a club which she started last year called “Christ Lights,” and dancing whenever and wherever she gets the opportunity! 



Ellen Raymond

 A native of Paris, Michigan, Ellen Raymond is a rising junior at Saint Mary's College majoring in Nursing with a minor in Gerontology. She served as the Class of 2017 President for two years while holding membership in the Notre Dame Orchestra. Ellen enjoys her time serving the South Bend community as an Activities Specialist at the Healthwin Specialty Care Center and devotes her time occasionally at the Humane Society of St. Joseph. A Student Program Coordinator of 2014, Ellen intends to participate in discussion of women's issues and participate in meaningful action and service to promote change.
